Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS) is a specialist service that provides support, accommodation and advice to adults and children who are victims of domestic abuse. They work with a range of agencies to provide the very best solutions to those affected by domestic abuse.
They provide Basic Awareness in Domestic Abuse training which is aimed at individuals in organisations and voluntary groups who work with adults and children or young people, to give a basic awareness of issues surrounding domestic abuse. Depending on your role, this may be used as part of your induction training and may be the only level of training you need, although some people will need further training to meet the requirements of their role.
